Dangote Sugar Refinery Plc, an indigenous sugar refinery in Nigeria, undergoing an expansion project is seeking to recruit suitably qualified candidates to fill the under listed positions in its Nigerian and Algerian Sugar Refineries.
CHEMISTS - Ref 001
Key Responsibilities
Control and coordinate all shift activities to achieve assigned product quality targets
Responsible for motivating and coordinating laboratory attendants in a range of tasks
Supervise routine laboratory analysis and guide operation in progress towards the attainment of best practical result
Responsible for ensuring that all staff on the shift meet the stated output/target
Assist the Chief Chemist in the day to day administration of the team on shift
Prepare technical reports and perform related duties as assigned
Qualification/Experience
First degree or its equivalent in chemistry, biochemistry or Microbiology with a minimum of two (2) years experience in food and beverage industry.
Skills & Competencies
Knowledge of Sugar Technology
Computer Literate (Lab. information system)
Strong basic science background
Resourceful and Result oriented
Familiar with Quality Management System
Supervisory Skills

ANALYSTS -Ref 002
Key Responsibilities.
Analysis of raw materials, intermediate materials, finished products for key control parameters
Conduct routine /miscellaneous analysis and give prompt feedback for effective process control
Maintain proper quality assurance/work safety procedures Maintain accurate records
Qualification/Experience
OND in Science Laboratory Technology or related field with a minimum of two (2) years work experience in Food & Beverage industry
Skills & Competencies
Knowledge of Laboratory technology
Sound basic science background
Dexterity and result oriented
BILINGUAL (ENGLISH AND FRENCH) PA to MD/CEO-Ref 015
Key Responsibilities
Update the MD's daily schedules
Plan and review the MD/CEO's itinerary
Supervise the sorting and distribution of all correspondences
Translate and interpret letters, reports, memos etc (French to English)
Maintain inventory of office supplies and order supplies as needed
Responsible for all staff in the MD/CEO's office
Perform general office duties as required
Keep custody of various files and reports as needed
Supervise the general maintenance/custodial function
Attend and take minutes of meetings with the MD/CEO
Qualification/Experience
A BA degree in French and diploma advance an langue francaise (an advance diploma in French), with a minimum of 5 years experience as a Personal Assistant to a top Executive of a reputable organization. French translation capabilities and qualifications in secretarial practice are prerequisites for the job.

Key Responsibilities
Manages the internal user help desk applications- track user complains and ensure timely resolution.
Responsible as a liaison between the IT department and the end user departments
Provides first level support on hardware problems
Monitors technical developments on office productivity systems and notifies users of impacts and action plans
Plan and execute IT awareness training for the users
Installs new workstations
Deploy desk top applications (i.e. MS office)
Manages knowledge management support for the internal customer
Design and administer internal customer satisfaction survey
Qualification/Experience
BSC Computer Science and MCSE 2000 Certification with minimum of two years experience
Skills and Competencies
Good knowledge of the Personal Computer environment (i.e., components, configurations and workings)
Sound knowledge of standard desktop and help desk management software
Sound knowledge on office productivity systems (i.e. Spreadsheets, Word Processor, groupware/messaging system)

Key Responsibilities
Deve!ops assignment brief: justifications and user requirements
Designs and develops software programs and customised reports to meet user needs
Provides end user support, upgrades and change requests to the ERP and other business applications
Maintain database
Manages user accounts at the business application level
Monitors database usage and performance statistics
Database fine tuning.
Ensures proper documentation of development and maintenance activities according to the standards.
Qualification/Experience
Minimum of first degree or equivalent in (Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Electrical Electronics) with minimum of 5 years working experience.
Skills and Competencies
Knowledge of the business processes that the application supports understanding of an industry standard ERP functionalities
Sound knowledge in programming and applications support, systems analysis and web applications design
Report writing and presentation skill
